The Porosus Endowment Fund was established to help talented young people to progress in the fields of sports and the arts. It aims to support and promote their careers. Whether individuals or teams, the sports projects supported include golf, horse riding, surfing and dance. The artistic disciplines represented include cinema, music and performing arts, among others.

The Porosus Endowment Fund was created at the end of 2012 by Catherine Lacoste de Piñero, Jacques Lacoste, Philippe Lacoste, Corinne Lacoste, Geneviève Colon de Carvajal, Sophie Lacoste-Dournel, Jean Miguel Prado-Lacoste and Véronique Smondack, respectively daughter and grandchildren of René and Simone Lacoste. The Porosus Endowment Fund enables the family to continue the philanthropic work initiated by René and Simone Lacoste.
