Crescendo, Creamos Ópera – 6th edition
Teatro Real
Crescendo, Creamos Ópera, the programme run by the Fundación Amigos del Teatro Real, has been awarded a grant to fund the training of young opera singers, pianists and assistant stage directors.
In 2026, Crescendo, Creamos Ópera celebrates its sixth edition. Led by the Fundación Amigos del Teatro Real, the programme supports the opera talents of tomorrow as they take their first steps into professional life, fostering their artistic development and helping them establish themselves in the profession.
The programme complements the training that the young singers, pianists and assistant stage directors have already received at their own institutions. Workshops, masterclasses, meetings and cross-disciplinary activities enrich them both artistically and personally, and prepare them for a demanding career.
Crescendo, Creamos Ópera also offers the young artists genuine professional opportunities: they perform on stage as part of various initiatives connected with the Teatro Real, giving them valuable exposure and helping them launch their careers.
Eighteen young artists were selected from 250 applicants for the programme’s sixth edition: 12 singers (4 sopranos, 3 mezzo-sopranos, 1 countertenor, 1 tenor and 3 baritones), 3 pianists and 3 assistant stage directors, from 8 countries: Colombia, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Romania, Spain and Venezuela.
