Dorian received a grant to help him enter international surfing competitions.

What is your sporting background ?
I am a WQS surfer, I have been in this category for three years, I had a great year, before Covid, getting into the top 100 worldwide. My last season was very intense with a 25th place on the European WQS and a 9th place on the WQS 3000 in Santa Cruz. Then unfortunately a knee injury immobilized me for a few months... Since then, I have only one goal: to get back to the top level and to be among the top 5 European surfers.

What is your view of your profession today ?
Today, I have a detached look at my profession, I see it as a passion because it is a great pleasure to come back to competition. I try to focus on every aspect of surfing and do my best to come back stronger than ever and have as much fun as possible.

How do you see yourself in 5 years ? In 10 years ?
In 5 and 10 years, I hope to see myself on the Ct: the #1 professional circuit.
To be fulfilled and pursue my goals: to go higher.
