Ibrahim ADAM
Architect
Ibrahim received a grant to finance his architectural projects in partnership with the Atelier des Artistes en Exil.
What is your artistic background ?
I have worked as an assistant in an architecture firm, as a ceramic and porcelain designer, I have designed sets for films and plays, I have done case studies and feasibility studies on plastics processing.
How do you see your profession today ?
Architecture is the mother of all the arts, it combines all the artistic disciplines that involve both the interior and exterior, since it has to design spaces in three dimensions. It is just as important to work on physical models as it is to work on virtual models using 3-D software on a computer.
How do you see yourself in 5 years ? In 10 years ?
I don't have a very precise idea of what I will be in five or 10 years, but I would like to take on as many architectural projects as possible, to learn to use advanced software for architecture, master the French language and have a home and a partner, aspire to a ‘normal life’.
